The dogs and I cozied up on the couch and then I proceeded to "rot my brain",as my husband so often likes to tell me, with my tv shows.....Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Private Practice, LA Ink, Keeping up with the Kardashians, and Bret Michael's new show on VH1. I had some serious television to watch which is why I guess I was ignoring all the sound coming from the boys rooms.
A little while later I heard the sound of a bedroom door opening. Which child would it be and what would they need? My guess, Carson was thirsty. Nope, I was wrong. Christian appeared first with Carson right behind both with huge grins on their face. "Mom, we need to show you something", Christian said. "Close your eyes". At this point I get home so both boys can hold my hands and lead me to the bedroom with my eyes close. Upon opening my eyes, what did I see?
The boys had taken all of the stuffed animals out of both their rooms and piled them on top of Christian's bottom bunk. They were so proud of their crafty little plan as you can see by the size of their smiles! It was funny. After a few pictures I insisted that it truly was bedtime and that they now needed to go to bed. Later that night when Chad got home, I told him to go give the boys a kiss because they missed him not being home.
Sure enough they had fallen asleep amongst all of their stuffed animal friends. It obviously was not that comfortable because when the alarm went off the next morning both boys were in bed with us!
